Then this position as a Product & Educational Specialist at Orfit is for you! 

You will play a key role in increasing the knowledge about and expertise in the use of our thermoplastic materials and orthotic accessories among clinical end users, distributors and the internal Orfit Team. You will work closely with R&D and Product Management on product development, and with Marketing and Sales on supporting clinical specialists in the market. You will provide training and product support to customers worldwide and ensure that our products perform correctly for the best clinical results. 

Your Tasks:

Product Training & Education:

  • Planning, organizing and providing in person and online product training and education to end users and distributors.
  • Providing demonstrations and product support during trade fairs and congresses.
  • Providing technical support to customers through various channels.
  • Helping in the event of customer complaints related to products.

Sales and Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with Marketing to draft articles, publications and other marketing materials. 
  • Create social media content and assist in the development of product literature.
  • Perform SWOT analyses and write scripts for product and application videos.
  • Write publications for scientific literature to support the clinical benefits of Orfit products.

Support for R&D and Product Management:

  • Provide input to R&D for the development of new products and the improvement of existing products.
  • Identify market trends and align product portfolios accordingly.
  • Collaborate with users of our products in research projects.
  • Assist in writing user instructions for products and in analyzing competitor products.

Our Ideal Match…

Expertise and Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy and pathology related to medical conditions of the upper limbs. Experience with clinical treatment methods in hand therapy and the use of orthotic materials.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a hand therapist.
  • Experience with “evidence-based practice” and knowledge of research methods to conduct scientific studies.
  • Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science or Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy or equivalent through experience.

Communication and Training:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong in conveying product knowledge and giving professional demonstrations.
  • Fluent in English

Independence and Collaboration:

  • An initiative-taker who can work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and groups.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time).
